Uplifting and artistic dream pop written solely by the lead singer and guitarist of Sigur Rós, Jón Þór Birgisson. This Icelandic native has a voice that has captivated such a wide variety of listeners that it has been used in many different commercials and soundtracks for years. Chances are, you've probably heard this man's voice somewhere but just didn't realize it at the time. A lot of the music is sung in his native tongue but there are some English songs. From my experience, the words don't even matter with this man, his voice alone tells a story.

This is the second full length album by Maps and Atlases and is one of my most anticipated albums of the year. I haven't given it a listen yet as I'm downloading it as I post this, but I have extremely high expectations for it!  Check out my older post to get the rest of the Maps discography here.
