Every Time I Die's newest album is officially released March 6th 2012 but like everything, it has leaked early. This album has been said to be much darker than previous albums, and less of a "party" album. Give it a listen and if you like it you should check out their older albums.

One man project from the United Kingdom who has created some of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Four Tet is a great listen on any occasion and I would highly suggest checking these two albums out. Rule breaking electronic IDM music. I've loved this dude's work for awhile and decided that you need to hear it.

I happened to come across this band looking for new music and recalled that I had heard their band named dropped a number of times. After listening to a bit of it I could have sworn the first song was like three songs in one.  Not too big on nearly nine minute songs but I really enjoyed it. The songs are constantly developing and have an amazing sense of atmosphere layered under a sludgy and aggressive rock outlet. Russian Circles is from Chicago, check em out.

Now normally I'm not big on heavy deathcore with a lot of inhale screaming but this band caught my attention for a couple reasons. First off, they're from my hometown and went to my rival high school. I actually saw them play before I even knew who they were at a battle of the bands. Aside from that, I've had the third song on the album stuck in my head for the past couple days. So if you are into heavy deathcore or just wanna see what the band's about then click the link yo!

Awesome little four song EP for your listening pleasure. It's being given away at name your price on their bandcamp page. Post rock material with the uplifting aspect of dance rock and jammy riffs of math rock. New Jersey based four piece.

This project, given the title name 24192,  is a one man piece from mother Russia. Other than that, I know nothing about the guy except that his music is awesome! Seriously if you want to experience some original progressive metal that falls on its own unique end of the spectrum, then I would highly suggest checking out this guy's music. Heavy djent influences, fast paced, with a strangely unique electronic mix. This band is a genre in itself, I will be looking out for any new information I can get on this guy but for now I'm only left with questions.  Animals as Leaders fans will enjoy this.
